We’re kicking off the year by introducing Look-Back Data for Social. This data tool will allow us to focus in even more on your client’s ideal audience on Facebook and Instagram.
Here’s the high-level overview:
We all have our phones with us when we’re out, and we know that location data is being stored. Now we can ‘look back’ in time and build an audience of people who were at a specific location during the past 30, 60, or 90 days. That device data is then used to build a custom audience in the Facebook ad platform.
Here are some examples of how this can be used:
- A local pet supply business: We gather data of customers who have been to the big-box pet supply stores in your area, who have been to a local vet, and who have been to a local dog park.
- A local clothing boutique wanting to serve its ads to shoppers at other clothing stores.
- A local landscaper can serve their ads to people who have shopped at local nurseries.
The possibilities are endless! Which of your clients would benefit from this exclusive audience?
The data is completely anonymized and can only be used in our Facebook ad platform. Once uploaded as a custom audience, Facebook matches the entries to its user database, and we serve them ads.
